a)  Assembly of all Disc and 5-Star Base Stools

Tooling Requirements: None

Estimated assembly time: Less than 20 seconds

For the Disc Base option, ensure that the Shroud is correctly placed on the base before inserting the centre-column into the base (note: there is no shroud with the new nylon disc base or any 5-Star base). Now insert the tapered centre-column into the Disc or 5-Star base and exert downward pressure while simultaneously applying a small twisting action to the footring. This twisting action will ensure that the tapers in the base and centre-column 'seat' correctly

Now place the seat & backrest assembly on the opposite end of the centre-column and again exert downward pressure, or simply sit on the stool. Voila! The assembly operation is now complete!

The tapered centre-column design will ensure that the stool will not wobble, nor will it accidentally separate.

b)  Assembly of all 4-Legged Stools

Tooling Requirements: 10mm spanner and No 2 Philips screwdriver (not included)

Estimated assembly time: Approximately 5 minutes 

• Place the seat & backrest assembly upside down on a suitable table
  
  
• Remove the 4 fixing screws from the 4-legged frame or seat
  
  
• Place the 4-legged frame in position on the seat
  
  
• Fit and tighten the 4 screws
